Marcia Burton
In-person or online, I have 25+ years experience as a counsellor. I support individuals and couples facing challenges with self-esteem, anxiety, depression, life transitions, bereavement, marriage and reIationships, sexual abuse, mid-life crisis, disabilities, end of life issues, work-related issues and more. I see clients of any religion, race, or gender orientation. I am especially skilled at connecting with those who are highly sensitive, or are lacking in self-esteem and self-compassion. My style of therapy is encouraging and compassionate, and I bring a good dose of humour and humility to my relationship with clients.
Marcia is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) and an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) with the BCACC. She offers Clinical Supervision for new and experienced counsellors wishing to deepen their practice, the application of ethics in the therapeutic relationship, and to build professional and personal self-confidence.
