We would love you to join us in San Juan Del Sur, Nicaragua this winter, for a week of relaxing and practicing Hakomi!
Our friends, Juliette and Antonio, from Whitehorse, Yukon, have been staying at a village resort just outside San Juan Del Sur in the winter and love this place. We are honoured and grateful that Juliette will be organizing this workshop for us. You can contact Juliette Anglehardt-Zedda directly for details about the retreat, and registration. Her email is: firstname.lastname@example.org
Some info about what to expect:
Accommodation is in private villas at Villas de Pallermo, near San Juan Del Sur. The villas accommodate either one couple or two single people. If you register as a single person and are attending on your own, you will be matched with another participant to share a villa. The resort is low key, quiet, kid-friendly and about a 20 minute walk to the beach and to the town. There’s a swimming pool and little restaurant on site.
$1100 Canadian per person includes one week’s accommodation, an airport shuttle, daily yoga, daily breakfast and lunch, and 3 hours of Hakomi training per day.
Surfing lessons, Spanish lessons and childcare are available for an additional cost. (Juliette and Antonio have 3 young ones and have established connections with trusted local folks).
This Hakomi retreat is multi-level. It is for all students, whatever level of experience, to take their next steps in experiencing and practicing the method. During one of the seven days, we will have an extra 3 hour session, either in the afternoon or the evening. The retreat will count as 4 days toward our Islands Hakomi Education Network 42 day Hakomi training.
Daily Schedule will look roughly like this:
7-9am: Optional yoga with Juliette who is a very experienced yoga teacher
2pm onwards: Free time to explore the beach, town, have a nap, take a swim, etc. There are plenty of restaurants in town to eat dinner.
